rose columns

Apologies to the two of your who favorited the previous version.  I decided to play with, and then agonize over, the spacing.  I hope i made the "alternate" reading subtly obvious.  I also had changed the words when I submitted it before (this began life as a comment on Meg's page [I don't remember how to link anymore, so I'll come back and fix this later]), but I changed them back for this one - for some reason I changed "can't" to "don't" and completely obliterated the "hand/can't" thing.  Stupid.
